So as I was saying... I made a lot of images last year, I just "never got around to posting them."
Normally my Streets of Roses posts are strictly for images made while walking around Portland, something I used to do a lot more of than I have lately. This post, however, will also feature a few pix from a day in Bellevue last January and around the Peninsula last summer.
I came across this in PDX back in October. I loved that they had the two portraits up, but I thought their juxtaposition was interesting.
The photo above is straight out of the camera and less than a mile from my house.
The scene above is either a preschool or a horror movie.
Back in August Natty and I visited the an exhibition of lesser-known photos by William Eggleston, a photographer who has been a big influence on me the last few years. We also had a little bit of time to walk around before the sun went down.
Interestingly enough, I took a few selfies this year
In October, I made one of my favorite photos of the year — it currently resides as my laptops wallpaper.
