At the beginning of September I went on a 1,600 mile road trip around Oregon, a state I've spent a lot of time in through the years but which I'd seen less than half of. I went down the coast, a road I've been on maybe 100 times through the years, then continued up to the Illinois Valley and Medford, north to Crater Lake and Bend, East to John Day and Baker City, north again to Pendleton for the Round-Up and then back west on I-84 through the Columbia River Gorge. I'm very pleased with what I came back with, of which I'm sharing a small portion of with you here today. My plan is to self-publish of book of the work and calling it "We love dreamers," named for the current slogan adopted by the state in 2003. So join me for a brief trip around the Sunset State.
My hope is that I will have the book out before the holidays, I'll keep you posted.
Also, after going down the coast I stopped off in Crescent City for a while to continue work on my longterm photo project there, and I think I wrapped up ... I'll be posting some images from that here soon.
